BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — A crash blocked eastbound lanes on Interstate 595 on Friday afternoon in Broward County.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers and Davie Fire Rescue personnel responded to the crash east of Nob Hill Road.
“Crews found a box truck on its side blocking several lanes of traffic,” Davie Fire Marshal Robert Taylor wrote in a statement.
A dump truck had rolled over when FHP was dispatched shortly after 4:40 p.m., according to FHP’s live traffic feed data.
“The driver of the vehicle was treated and transported to Broward Medical Center,” Taylor wrote.
By 5:10 p.m., FHP reported there were no roadblocks, but traffic delays continued on I-595.
