The victim, who identified himself as Scott, said Javier was angry that he had pulled his SUV too far ahead of the Stop sign in the parking lot of the membership-only wholesaler.

“We got into a fight. He pulled out a gun. We got into another fight, which is the video you see. And then, for some reason, he shot the gun,” the victim said.

The victim said a bullet hit his black SUV’s rear passenger tire. A video shows witnesses and Costco employees intervened during the confrontation.

After police officers arrested Javier, the victim said he had no regrets about the way he handled the situation, which included him telling the gunman that he wasn’t scared.

“It’s not that I wasn’t threatened by it. It’s just that you pulled the gun, you are going to have to use it. He definetly shouldn’t have a gun because there is no such thing as warning shots,” the victim said. “If I was such a threat to him, I should not be here.”
