Fire rescue flies man to trauma center after house fire in Miami Gardens

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — A Miami-Dade Fire Rescue helicopter flew a man to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center on Friday night after a house fire in Miami Gardens.

Hours later, there were more Miami Gardens police officers than Miami-Dade firefighters at the house along Northwest 204 Street, near 44th Place, in the Carol City neighborhood.

Miami Gardens crime scene technicians also responded. Miami-Dade County property records show the single-family home built in 1971 has three bedrooms.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 to remain anonymous.
