MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Beginning Thursday, appointments are no longer required to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at any of the Miami-Dade County-run sites.
This includes the sites at Tropical Park, Zoo Miami and Homestead Sports Complex.

Residents, however, are still encouraged to make appointments so that the registration process on-site will be faster for them.
Appointments can be made for either the same day or for upcoming days by visiting miamidade.gov/vaccine or calling 305-614-2014.
“I’m proud that Miami-Dade County was one of the first communities in the country to develop an online pre-registration system to help fairly allocate vaccine appointments when supply was extremely limited,” Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said in a statement. “Now, more than 1.2 million residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine, and we are making it as easy as possible to get a vaccine while expanding our outreach and education efforts to make sure no communities are left behind. Getting vaccinated is our best shot to protect our loved ones and put the pandemic behind us.”
