MIAMI – Miami-Dade public schools will now be closed on Thursday, in addition to Wednesday’s already-announced closure, district officials said Tuesday.
A district social media post states that the decision to close district schools and offices came “(a)fter consultation with the County’s emergency officials.”

Broward County schools will also be closed Wednesday and Thursday. Public schools in the Florida Keys will be closed on Wednesday.
