The inmate identified as Jermaine Henderson was supposed to be taking a shower before scheduled surgery when he escaped through the ceiling of the bathroom, police said. Heavily armed Miami police officers surrounded the Jackson Memorial Hospital on Friday. Miami Fire Rescue personnel used a stretcher to return Henderson to the hospital. Miami Fire Rescue personnel returned an inmate to the hospital after his attempt to escape on Friday failed.

The teacher being investigated is Michael Braeseke, who we’re told is a social science teacher at South Broward High School in Hollywood. South Broward high school teacher Mr Micheal Braseke watches pornography in class. The incident and allegations were reported to the District’s Special Investigative Unit to initiate an internal investigation.

Miami-Dade County Public Schools is the fourth largest school district in the United States, comprised of 392 schools, 345,000 students and over 40,000 employees. The district chose the My School Online platform through K12 because it wanted a one-stop shop for all students and teachers.

Deputies found the domestic violence suspect there and reported he refused to put down his weapon. “I just saw somebody laying in the middle of the street,” Gomes said, adding he also saw Fire Rescue personnel take him on a stretcher. Four cases of Dengue fever have recently been confirmed in the Florida Keys, bringing the total number of cases reported this year to 26, health officials said. Most of the Dengue fever cases are in a two-mile (3,218-meter) area of Key Largo, the Miami Herald reported. In 2010, 66 cases of locally acquired Dengue fever in Florida were associated with Key West, health officials said. Dengue fever often presents flu-like symptoms with severe muscle aches and pain, fever and a rash. Health officials said this is the same mosquito that carries the Zika virus, which has symptoms similar to Dengue.
