Michy’s Favorite Burger
For the burgers:

1 pound ground beef, use your favorite blend
salt and pepper, to taste
American cheese
Brioche buns
special sauce, recipe below
iceberg lettuce
sliced beefsteak tomatoes
thinly sliced white onion
Form the beef into thin 4-ounce patties. Season the patties with salt and pepper. Sear or grill until golden brown and then flip over. Cover each patty with 1 slice of American cheese and cook until the bottom of the burgers are golden and the cheese begins to melt. Stack the patties one on top of the other.
To build the burgers, spread special sauce on both sides of the bun. Top the bottom bun with lettuce. Place the two patties with cheese on top of the lettuce then top with a slice of tomato. Nestle the thinly sliced onions into the special sauce on the top bun and close the burger. Enjoy!
For the Special Sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
a couple dashes of hot sauce
2 tablespoons chopped dill pickles
Mix together all ingredients in a bowl. Keep cold until ready to use.
