HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Hollywood police are investigating a fatal shooting and are seeking information in the case, the agency announced Wednesday.
In a news release, police said they responded to the 500 block of Columbus Parkway just before 7:45 p.m. and found a man wounded and “lying in the street.”

Medics took him to Memorial Regional Hospital, where he died of his injuries, police said.
Authorities haven’t publicly identified the victim.
