MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police arrested a private school bus driver after they said he inappropriately touched a 16-year-old girl.
According to an arrest report, Juan F. Gonzalez picked the girl up from school Wednesday. The arrest report didn’t identify the school, but said Gonzalez works for Lukas Transportation.

Police said the victim was the last student on board that day when Gonzalez, 75, drove to an “unknown neighborhood” and “unexpectedly stopped” the bus and turned it off.
The victim told police that Gonzalez grabbed her arm and pulled her toward him “in an attempt to convince her to kiss him,” the report states.
After rejecting him multiple times, Gonzalez grabbed her face and tried to force a kiss, police said.
“After the victim pulled away multiple times, (he) fondled the victim’s breast with his left hand before proceeding to touch her inner thighs,” the report states.
Authorities said Gonzalez “provided conflicting statements and subsequently denied all of the allegations.”
A judge found probable cause Thursday to charge Gonzalez with lewd and lascivious touching of certain minors, ordering he be held on a $5,000 bond and giving him a stay-away order.
He remained in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center as of early Thursday evening.
