Cops arrested Sanchez on two felony charges Tuesday.
According to a Homestead police arrest report, the incident happened just after 2:15 p.m. on April 28.
Police said Sanchez sped past the boy as he rode his bike in the area of Northwest 12th Avenue and 18th Street.
Authorities said Sanchez parked and then made the insult to the boy. The report doesnāt state whether the two knew each other, nor the boyās age.
After the boyās retort of āSo what?ā, police said Sanchez told him āIāll show you what I got in my car,ā went inside the Dodge, pulled out a gun and began chasing him with it, saying ācome repeat what you said.ā
Police said the victim made it home unharmed. Authorities said a neighborās surveillance video shows Sanchezās vehicle following him.
Authorities said the victimās mother told detectives the address of the Northwest 12th Avenue home where sheās seen the vehicle and authorities were able to tie the crime to Sanchez.
The arrest report states that authorities captured Sanchez after putting out a ābe on the lookoutā notice.

A judge gave him a $5,000 bond on the aggravated assault charge, according to jail records. His bond on the child abuse charge is listed online as āto be set.ā
