When the victim stepped out, Vazquez fired a shot at him, striking him in the arm, police said; both took off before officers arrived.

Medics took the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center for surgery. Police said he later identified the duo as the suspects and detectives were able to apprehend them.

According to jail records, Buscariollo and Vazquez were booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center just before midnight Thursday.

A Miami-Dade judge found probable cause to charge both and the pair remained held without bond as of Monday afternoon.
