Brickell, Fla. – A combination of dangerous storm surge created by Hurricane Irma and high tides produced flooded inland streets in South Florida, the National Hurricane Center reports.
This was evident in Brickell.

In some areas streets were flooded and boats struggling to stay afloat as water reached above the docks.
The NHC forecasts 3-5 feet of storm surge from Biscayne Bay, which is contributing to the flooding.
