Cold Front to Bring Showers & Storms Tuesday
A cold front is heading toward South Florida!
Ahead of the front, Miami-Dade & Broward counties can expect warm conditions Monday evening with SSW winds (5 to 15 mph). As the night unfolds, clouds increase-- can't rule out a random, passing shower. Plan for low temperatures in the low & mid 70s.
As the leading edge of the cold front approaches and crosses Tuesday, showers and storms are expected. Though there could be morning showers in the mix, most of the action may come during the afternoon. Be on guard for soaking storms that lead to localized flooding.
Southwest to west winds ahead of the front should aid in pushing temperatures toward the mid 80s Tuesday. Overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, less humid, cooler air arrives. Lows in the mid & upper 60s are forecast for Wednesday morning.
