PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – After South Florida shivered through a rare cold snap, temperatures are rebounding quickly.
Local 10 meteorologist Brandon Orr says Miami is already climbing out of the 50s and heading toward a pleasant high of 76 degrees on Sunday.
“We’re warming up nicely today, with lots of sunshine and a 0% chance of rain,” Orr said.
However, the warm-up won’t last long. A new storm system is forming in the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to bring another cold front across the Florida Peninsula in the coming days.
“This next front will pack another shot of cooler air,” Orr said.
For now, South Floridians and visitors can enjoy a brief reprieve with sunny skies and highs nearing 80 degrees in the days ahead.
