Cold front could bring rain to South Florida this week

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – An Arctic front is coming to South Florida before Thanksgiving and not before Christmas.

The remnants of Sara — a tropical storm that weakened into a tropical depression Sunday — could bring a mix of cold and rain this week to Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

The heavy downpours are more likely after Wednesday afternoon.

There is a 20% probability of rain on Thursday that goes down to zero on Friday. The cold front will prompt lows in the upper 50s and highs in the mid-70s on Friday and Saturday when it will be partly cloudy. Sunday will be mostly sunny with lows in the 60s.
