MIAMI – The first sign of "normal" life returning to an area hit by a natural disaster is when grocery stores reopen for business.
Publix supermarkets began operations at some of their locations around South Florida on Monday.

Sedano's and Winn-Dixie also started to welcome shoppers to locations in Miami-Dade.
Be warned that some locations may not accept credit or debit cards. Also, locations not listed may soon reopen, so check the Publix website for updates.
