BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – At least two confirmed tornadoes took place in Miami-Dade County and Broward County on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
The tornados were associated with bands from Hurricane Irma.

The NWS issued the warnings continuously during the early evening. and was able to confirm a touchdown in Plantation.
A tornado was also confirmed in Homestead Speedway in Homestead.
There was also a reported touched down in Oakland Park and footage shows a tornado form near Lauderdale-By-The-Sea.
There was a report of a touch down in Sunrise near Sunrise Boulevard and Flamingo Road, but that strike turned out to be unfounded, according to Sunrise police.
The police said they didn't get any emergency calls about a touchdown.
