County leaders said the fare-free initiative will apply during early voting days on Saturday, Nov. 2, and Sunday, Nov. 3, as well as on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.

The move aims to make it easier for voters to access polling stations.

Early voting is currently underway in Florida, with 29 early voting locations open in Broward County until Nov. 3. Early voting hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and BCT buses will have stops near these locations to facilitate transportation for voters.

“We are pleased to offer free transportation to the polls on November 2, November 3, and on Election Day, November 5, to ensure everyone has the opportunity to vote without transportation worries,” Coree Cuff Lonergan, CEO and General Manager of BCT.
