BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. ā In an effort to boost voter participation, the Broward County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved an ordinance to waive all transit fares for Broward County Transit buses and paratransit services for voters on Election Day.

County leaders said the fare-free initiative will apply during early voting days as well as on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.
The move aims to make it easier for voters to access polling stations.
Early voting is currently underway in Florida, with 29 early voting locations open in Broward County until Nov. 3. Early voting hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and BCT buses will have stops near these locations to facilitate transportation for voters.
