South Florida voters take advantage of early voting for ‘one of the most important elections in our times’

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Hundreds of thousands of people have been turning out across South Florida to vote in the General Election since early voting began on Oct. 21.

In Pembroke Pines Sunday, the passion was alive and well for this election.

“Vote and I do the splits,” one woman told people outside a polling location.

Early voters in Broward County were greeted by swarms of candidate supporters.

“We have to get our vote in today,” one voter, Andrew Facey, said.

He and others stopped by one of the Pembroke Pines precincts on Sunday to cast their ballots.
