BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Republican voters in Broward County headed to the polls Tuesday, March 19, for the Presidential Preference Primary although former President Donald Trump had already been declared the presumptive Republican nominee following the March 12 primaries in Georgia, Mississippi and Washington.
A Democratic Presidential Primary is not being held in Florida as President Joe Biden is running uncontested.

In Broward County, Hillsboro Beach residents also selected two town commissioners.
Lauderdale-by-the-Sea residents chose a new mayor as well as District 1 and 2 commissioners.
Two referendums were also voted on in Sea Ranch Lakes, including whether to amend the Charter to provide a Village Council with five elected members instead of seven and whether to amend the Charter “to provide that an affirmative vote of a majority of members of the Village Council present at a meeting where a quorum is established is required to adopt any resolution or ordinance of the Village.”
In Pembroke Pines, voters selected a new mayor as well as commissioners to represent Districts 2 and 3.
