KEY LARGO, Fla. – Two people were killed and another was injured in a crash Saturday afternoon on the Monroe County-Road Toll Bridge.
When authorities arrived, one person was on Card Sound Road before the toll plaza and the other was in a car. The bridge connects Miami-Dade County to Key Largo.

A Miami-Dade Fire Rescue helicopter airlifted one victim to Jackson South Community Hospital in Kendall.
Authorities closed Card Sound Road in both directions and were diverting traffic to U.S. Highway 1.
