The Florida Department of Transportation said Friday that the northbound entrance near Northwest 29th Street will be relocated about a mile to the north beginning Sunday for the next two years.

In order to relocate the entrance, all northbound express lanes from the Airport Expressway to the Golden Glades interchange will be closed from 11 p.m. Friday to 11 a.m. Sunday.
One northbound general-purpose lane from Northwest 27th Street to Northwest 47th Street will also be closed from 11 p.m. Friday to 11 a.m. Saturday and from 11 p.m. Saturday to 11 a.m. Sunday.
Relocating the entrance to the northbound express lanes will allow the contractor the necessary room to begin replacing the concrete pavement on I-95 between Northwest 29th and Northwest 79th streets.
The closures will allow the contractor to work on the emergency stopping sites and install temporary concrete barrier walls and lighting.
Inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances could cause the schedule to change.
