MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were transported to a hospital Thursday afternoon following a rollover crash in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in northeast Miami-Dade, authorities confirmed.
Sky 10 was above the highway near Ives Dairy Road shortly before 2 p.m. as one person was placed on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported one person to a local trauma center, while Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue transported another to a nearby hospital, according to authorities.
Authorities confirmed that three vehicles were involved in the crash, with one overturning as a result.
A Tesla was spotted on the shoulder of the highway a short distance away with multiple people standing outside of it.
All lanes on I-95 have since been reopened.
No other details about the crash were immediately released.
