MIAMI – A fuel spill led to traffic backups on Interstate 95 in Miami Friday morning.
Sky 10 was above the northbound lanes of the highway off Northwest 79th Street as Miami Fire Rescue crews were working to contain the spill.

An 18-wheeler was parked off to the side.
MFR officials confirmed that the tractor-trailer spilled 40 gallons of diesel fuel.
Only the express lanes were open after the leak.
Local 10 traffic reporter Alexis Frazier urged drivers to use U.S. 1 as an alternate route.
The cause of the fuel leak was not immediately clear.
