MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Street closures began Thursday ahead of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix.
The closures will affect the northbound and southbound Florida’s Turnpike/State Road 91 exit ramps to Northwest 199th Street/Hard Rock Stadium (Exit 2X), and the northbound and southbound Florida’s Turnpike entrance ramps from Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami-Dade County.

Northbound and southbound Florida’s Turnpike/SR 91 exit ramps to NW 199 Street/Stadium (Exit 2X):
Continuous full ramp closure, 8 a.m. Thursday, May 2, to 10 p.m. Sunday, May 5.
Detour Information:
- Northbound Florida’s Turnpike/SR 91 traffic wishing to access NW 199 Street/Stadium (Exit 2X) will be directed to exit at University Drive/NW 27th Avenue/SR 817 (Exit 47) and travel south on NW 27th Avenue to access NW 199th Street.
- Southbound Florida’s Turnpike/SR 91 traffic wishing to access NW 199th Street/Stadium (Exit 2X) will be directed to exit at University Drive/NW 27th Avenue/SR 817 (Exit 47) and travel south on NW 27th Avenue to access NW 199th Street.
Northbound and southbound Florida’s Turnpike/SR 91 entrance ramps from Hard Rock Stadium:
Continuous full ramp closure, 8 a.m. Thursday, May 2, to 10 p.m. Sunday, May 5.
Detour Information:
• Westbound NW 199th Street traffic wishing to access northbound Florida’s Turnpike/SR 91 will be directed to NW 27th Avenue, travel north on NW 27th Avenue to County Line Road/NW 215th Street/SR 852 and travel east on County Line Road to access northbound Florida’s Turnpike.
• Stadium traffic wishing to access northbound Florida’s Turnpike/SR 91 will be directed to NW 199th Street, travel west on NW 199th Street to NW 27th Avenue, travel north on NW 27th Avenue to County Line Road/NW 215th Street/SR 852 and travel east on County Line Road to access northbound Florida’s Turnpike.
• Stadium traffic wishing to access southbound Florida’s Turnpike/SR 91 will be directed to NW 199th Street and travel east on NW 199th Street to access southbound Florida’s Turnpike.
