MIAMI – A rollover crash was reported Friday afternoon at a Miami intersection, nearly a week after Hurricane Irma knocked out power to traffic lights throughout South Florida.
Miami Fire Rescue Capt. Ignatius Carroll said the lights were out at the intersection of Northwest 12th Avenue and 50th Street, where two vehicles collided just before 2 p.m.

Carroll said two elderly women were inside the SUV. He said the driver was able to get out on her own, and the passenger had to be helped out by a Fire Rescue crew.
A woman who was driving a four-door Infiniti was also helped out of her car.
Carroll said all three were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It wasn't immediately clear who was at fault. The crash is under investigation by Miami police.
