MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A garbage truck spilled waste Wednesday morning while heading north on Interstate 95, approaching Miami Gardens Drive.
Sky 10 was above the scene at 8:30 a.m. as one northbound lane was open to traffic.

Smoke was emitting from the dump truck and two Miami-Dade Fire Rescue trucks were at the scene.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Lt. Felipe Lay said the trash inside the truck caught fire so the driver dumped the load onto the road.
No injuries were reported.
Authorities said drivers should expect a significant traffic delay.
