FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – One person died Sunday morning after a three-vehicle crash on Interstate-95 northbound at State Road 84, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.
The crash took place at about 4:30 a.m.

"The person who was killed in that crash, (their) vehicle caught on fire and the subject subsequently died in the car from the fire," said Sgt. Mark Wysocky.
Another person was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
