PLANTATION, Fla. – Plantation firefighters extinguished a car fire Thursday morning along the 7100 block of Peters Road.
The Plantation Fire Department said on Twitter that the westbound lanes of Peters Road near University Drive was closed while they battled the flames.
One person was taken to Broward Health Medical Center as a trauma alert, firefighters said.
