MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A Miami-Dade Transit bus caught fire Wednesday afternoon in southwest Miami-Dade off Florida's Turnpike, authorities said.
The fire was reported on the northbound entrance to the Turnpike at Southwest 112th Avenue.

Southbound traffic on 112th Avenue was shut down in the area after the fire broke out, but has since reopened.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said all passengers were evacuated from the bus and were not injured.
Authorities said the bus driver suffered a head injury.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
