Mother, child among 4 taken to hospital

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Two children were injured Friday in a crash that closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 near Miami Gardens.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a vehicle sideswiped another vehicle near Miami Gardens Drive, sending both careening into opposite retaining walls on the highway.
