WESTON, Fla. – The driver of a motorhome was rescued Wednesday morning after he crashed his vehicle into a canal in Weston, authorities said.
The crash was reported about 10 a.m. at mile marker 30 on U.S. Route 27.
Broward Sheriff's Office Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles said the driver somehow lost control and veered into the canal.
The driver was helped out of the vehicle by firefighters, who used a ladder to assist him in walking across the canal.
No injuries were reported.
