Passengers who bought cabins for a 3 1/2-year round-the-world cruise have been waiting months for the vessel to depart.

Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas — the biggest cruise ship in the world and the first water park at sea — was at PortMiami on Thursday. It has a capacity for 7,600 passengers.
