MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Thom Carr, a classical pianist who also worked as a real estate agent died of COVID-19, the respiratory illness caused by the new coronavirus, his family said on Wednesday. Kathy Parsons reviewed the album for the Mainly Piano magazine writing, “Carr obviously has some spectacular playing chops.”Carr, who lived in Fort Lauderdale, attended the annual Winter Party Festival held during the coronavirus pandemic in March. Last month, Carr’s husband told Local 10 News’ Clay Ferraro he isolated himself after he started feeling ill, and was taken to the hospital March 23rd. The family is now hoping to hold a memorial service when loved ones can get together again. Carr’s sister, Suzi, told Local 10, “I am very proud of what a kind, loving, talented and creative person Thom was.
