Authorities issued a no swim advisory after a pipe leaked about 120,000 gallons of sewage into Biscayne Bay on Friday. According to police, the crash happened at approximately 7:17 a.m. Sunday on Arthur Lamb Jr. Road near Virginia Key Beach. “The officer involved in this incident is assigned here and regularly patrols the causeway and the surrounding areas,” said Det. The entrance to the park was closed for hours as the traffic homicide investigation unfolded. Miami-Dade traffic homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
