A witness recorded a video after a Miami Beach police officer was shot in the leg in Venetian Isles.

They are meant to help keep bicyclists safe from drivers, but riders on the Venetian Causeway say new barriers are creating a new danger.

There was a wastewater main break on Thursday between Purdy Avenue and the Venetian Causeway in Miami Beach.

Belle Isle residents and visitors had to endure a road closure after a sewer main break on the Venetian Way. Miami Beach officials expect the repairs to be completed on Friday night.

The Venetian Causeway was shut down Friday morning in both directions at Purdy Avenue as crews work to repair a wastewater main.
