SUNRISE, Fla. – Cell phone video captured the aftermath of a fatal, three-car collision that happened late Saturday night in Sunrise. According to police, the driver who caused the crash was likely impaired and was seen heading north in the southbound lanes of University Drive around 11 p.m. While approaching Northwest 79th Avenue, officers said the impaired driver hit two other vehicles, one them head-on. Authorities said the driver of the second car was ejected and later died at the scene, while the impaired driver was taken to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale with minor injuries. Investigators say the third car involved had two people inside, but they were not hurt.

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A pilot was killed after a small plane crashed at North Perry Airport in Broward County. It happened at approximately 3:30 p.m. Monday at the airport located off University Drive and Pembroke Road in Pembroke Pines. Sky 10 was over the crash, where first responders inspected the wreckage and were seen placing a yellow tarp over the damaged aircraft. According to a spokesperson from the airport, the plane was attempting to take off and reported engine trouble before trying to turn around and land. According to records, the plane is a fixed wing, two-seat, single-engine aircraft built in 2007.

DAVIE, Fla. – Cows cornered by rising floodwater showed the toll of the weekend’s wicked rain from Tropical Storm Eta. “No, it’s not a call that we get very often,” Davie Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Jorge Gonzalez said. Monday morning, Davie Fire Rescue received call for a pair of stranded alpaca and three goats. The barn for the animals was filling fast with floodwater overnight and owner Cherie Kaplan was running out of options. It took fire rescue about 20 minutes to save the animals and to save the day.

DAVIE, Fla. – A thief stole a FedEx truck on Friday afternoon from a parking lot near Nova Southeastern University in Davie. The Isuzu cargo truck vanished from 7901 SW 36 St., according to Sarah Andeara, a spokeswoman for the Davie Police Department. The thief traveled southbound on University Drive and didn’t go very far. Officers respond to a report that a FedEx truck was stolen on Friday in Davie. DAVIE, Fla. – An argument over a parking space in a Walmart lot turned violent quickly on Tuesday afternoon, according to Davie Police. It all happened at the Walmart on University Drive and Griffin Road over a parking-space disagreement. Police said one woman had been waiting for a parking spot but when the space opened up, a silver Mercedes sped into the spot before she could pull in. At that time, when she got out of her car, she was attacked by three people from the Mercedes-Benz, according to police. Video shows the woman on the ground being attacked by the group while other shoppers try to help stop the assault.

DAVIE, Fla. Davie police responded to a rollover crash that turned deadly on Tuesday night. Investigators said the driver and passenger of a Toyota Scion have died. They were making a U-turn onto the westbound lanes when they collided with a Ford Mustang. The driver in the Mustang was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Officers said hes being investigated for possible speeding and whether he was under the influence.

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - A car burst into flames after the driver slammed into a Coral Springs strip mall Thursday. Alexendra Hazey said she lost the brakes on her Hyundai Sonata and couldn't stop before hitting the curb. She was able to jump out of the car before it caught fire, but she was uninjured. Alexandra Hazey looks on as her car is about to be towed away after it caught fire when she drove into a Coral Springs mall. The car was towed away.

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - A car crashed into a Budget rental car business Monday afternoon in Coral Springs. A witness told Local 10 News reporter Janine Stanwood that the driver was having some kind of issue with her purse inside the car when she drove the car into the front of the rental car business. Mike Moser, a spokesman for the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department, said no one was injured. The cause of the crash is under investigation and the Mercedes was towed away from the scene. It's unclear whether the driver will be cited.

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – A suspected bank robber who was trying to get away from police hit a curb and his vehicle flipped over on Thursday in Coral Springs. According to Officer Tyler Reik the suspected bank robber was driving north on University Drive when officers began to follow. When officers ordered the driver to stop, the driver sped away until flipping over. Reik said fire rescue personnel took the suspected robber to the hospital and he may appear in bond court on Friday.
