The road team has won each of the past four Egg Bowl games between Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Virginia and Virginia Tech will not only play for the Commonwealth Cup. The Apple Cup between Washington and Washington State is always entertaining. How will Oregon respond in the Civil War against rival Oregon State after an upset loss at Arizona State that cost the Ducks a chance at making the playoff?

There will be no separation in this week’s Local10.com college football picks. 2 Ohio State is a prohibitive favorite against Penn State, but don’t discount the Nittany Lions. 2 Ohio State in 2016, knocking the Buckeyes from the ranks of the unbeaten. Those Buckeyes went on to make the College Football Playoff. That’s where the Hurricanes will try to keep their winning streak going against FIU, coached by former Hurricanes head honcho Butch Davis.

Kudos are in order for Local 10 News reporter Liane Morejon, who seems to have more time to devote to her college football picks now that she's on maternity leave. Everyone missed on four upsets -- Tulsa's 34-31 victory over UCF, Minnesota's wild 31-26 win over previously undefeated Penn State, Florida State's 38-31 win at Boston College and Southern California's 31-26 win in the desert against Arizona State. Liane and reporter Ian Margol correctly picked top-ranked LSU to finally knock off No. Instead, it was Liane who won the weekend, though she remains in last place overall. Still, she's now just two games back from Ian and closing in on the others with a few weekends remaining.

Local 10 sports director Will Manso is once again leading the Local10.com college football picks. Will has a one-game lead on sports reporter Clay Ferraro headed into this weekend's slate of games. There will be no separation this weekend, however, as they both have identical picks. Another rivalry game being played this weekend is the "Shula Bowl," pitting Florida International against South Florida rival Florida Atlantic. Likewise, they've got Florida State losing at Boston College, which would essentially end FSU's fight for a bowl bid.

Local 10 News reporters Ian Margol and Liane Morejon are going to ride and die with the Hurricanes this season. Both are picking Miami to win at Pittsburgh, even after the Hurricanes were upset by Georgia Tech at home last weekend to fall to 3-4. Local 10 sports reporter Clay Ferraro may surprise a few with his pick of Michigan over Notre Dame, but it's wise not to underestimate the Wolverines when they're playing at the "Big House." Right now Clay and Local 10 sports director Will Manso are all tied up for first place in the Local10.com weekly college football picks, though Ian isn't too far behind. Liane will likely need a November of surprises to keep her in the race.

The group is all in on the trio of teams from South Florida, but the same can't be said about Florida State. The Seminoles are a unanimous pick to lose at Wake Forest this weekend. They should be able to withstand a struggling Georgia Tech squad Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium. But he won't make any headway this weekend with identical picks. Liane Morejon is hedging her bets on Michigan as she tries to narrow the gap between first and last place.

It was a rough weekend for the college football prognosticators. The entire group underestimated Florida, overestimated Miami and disregarded Cincinnati in a weekend of upsets. Miami was probably the biggest disappointment, failing to capitalize after rallying from a 28-point deficit against Virginia Tech. The Hurricanes (2-3) are off to their worst start since Al Golden's first season in 2011. Ian Margol slipped to three games behind after a 5-4 weekend that included a woeful vote of confidence in UMass.

Now, Florida will turn its attention to another group of Tigers, the LSU Tigers, this week in what will be an even bigger challenge. Those are video gamelike numbers, but on the flip side, Florida will be by far the best defense Burrow has faced thus far. Much was made about how Central Florida was upset by losing 27-24 at Cincinnati last Friday, which seems odd. Florida State seems overmatched, but it also isnt the same dominant Clemson team as last year.

The college football prognosticators are unanimously picking seventh-ranked Auburn to beat No. The group is all in on the Wolverines, although Ian said he'd favor the Hawkeyes if they were playing at home. Ian and Liane are picking one-win UMass, led by former Florida State offensive coordinator Walt Bell, to beat the Panthers at Riccardo Silva Stadium. But Will and Clay are believers in Butch Davis' Panthers, at least for this weekend. The Huskies are just 1-3 this season and have lost each of their last three games.

Will this be the weekend Local 10 News reporter Liane Morejon gains some ground on her XY-chromosome colleagues? Record aside, Liane obviously knows something the others don't about FAU's trip to Charlotte. Meanwhile in Tallahassee, the Seminoles will try to win consecutive games for just the second time in the Willie Taggart era. Ohio State and Nebraska had a close one last year, but nobody's expecting a letdown from the fifth-ranked Buckeyes. Virginia has had a successful September, but there's not much faith that the Cavalier can keep it going at Notre Dame Stadium.

UCF's Otis Anderson returns a kick 87 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter during the game against the Pittsburgh Panthers. Pitt trailed by six when Pickett drove the Panthers to the UCF 3. Pickett completed 25 of 47 for 224 yards with a touchdown despite leaving briefly with a right arm injury. UCF quarterback Gabriel Dillon passed for 338 yards and two touchdowns but also threw his first two interceptions of the season. Gabriel's 28-yard rainbow to Davis gave UCF 31 points in less than a quarter.

Things are about to get real. That means that Will and Clay are tied at 25-5 overall headed into the fourth full month of the college football season. Perhaps if Texas A&M knocks off Auburn, as Clay has prophesized. Or maybe Michigan will stun Wisconsin at Camp Randall Stadium, as Liane has projected. Liane also picked the Florida State tailspin to continue, losing to Louisville at home.

Will Manso, Clay Ferraro and Ian Margol each had a strong 10-1 showing last weekend, while the gap between first and last -- a distinction that belongs to Liane Morejon -- is growing. Clay holds a slight -game lead on Will, who has a narrow lead on Ian. The only surprise for the group was USC, which lost to BYU 30-27 in overtime. Liane slumped to 8-3 on the week, picking Ball State to beat FAU and Stanford to end UCF's 17-game home winning streak. The Owls flew away with their first win of the season and the Knights extended their streak to 18 games.

The threat of Hurricane Dorian forced the game between Florida State and Boise State, originally scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday in Jacksonville, to move to Tallahassee. Otherwise, all the picks are the same.
