SOUTH MIAMI, Fla. – A garbage truck collided with an SUV and then slammed into a recording studio owned by Gloria Estefan early Monday in South Miami, authorities said. The impact of the initial collision sent the SUV into a third vehicle, Camacho said. Paramedics transported two people who were riding in the garbage truck to Kendall Regional Medical Center. Camacho said the passenger of the truck jumped from vehicle before it hit the building, possibly saving that person's life. It serves as a recording studio for Estefan and her family.

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle Sunday night in Pompano Beach, officials said. The crash took place about 10:15 p.m. on West Atlantic Boulevard, just east of North Powerline Road, a spokesperson for the Broward Sheriff’s Office said. The victim was crossing West Atlantic Boulevard, heading north, at the time. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators don’t have any information to release on the vehicle that hit the person.

MIAMI-DADE, Fla. – A crash involving a tractor trailer was blocking three lanes on Interstate 95 southbound in Miami-Dade on Wednesday afternoon. The tractor trailer rolled over off the road near Ives Dairy Road. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue was at the scene.

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – First there was a crash on Interstate 95 in Hollywood on Saturday. One of the drivers ran away from the crash scene near Stirling Road and ran into a nearby restaurant. Police rushed to Moonlite Diner, 3500 Oakwood Blvd., and told the manager that all of the restaurants patrons had to walk out with their hands up. A man was detained and then released, according to Florida Highway Patrol. Hollywood Police spokesman Jamie Hernandez said the suspect was not in custody.

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A tow truck hit a Broward County public bus leaving several injured Saturday in Pembroke Park. The crash happened on the westbound lanes of Hallandale Beach Boulevard near the Barack Obama Boulevard intersection. Fire Rescue treated nine injured including the bus driver who suffered head and back injuries. Paramedics took three to Aventura Hospital and Medical Center and six to Memorial Regional Hospital.

Local 10 News is told the two truck drivers in Tallahassee remain in jail. Most of the drivers are independent contractors who lease or own their trucks, according to the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association. The companies that contract the truck drivers don't have to pay their insurance, according to the American Trucking Association. The cost of the logging device would also fall on the truck drivers, who need to have one running by Dec. 16, 2017, according to the rule. "It's sad because a lot of people are losing their trucks," trucker Randy Avila said.

MARGATE, Fla. – A black SUV rolled over during a crash in Margate Saturday morning. There were traffic delays after the intersection of Northwest 62nd Avenue and North Bay Road closed, witnesses said.

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – An SUV overturned on the Sawgrass Expressway westbound lanes in Coral Springs, according to the Florida Department of Transportation. Authorities blocked the two right lanes before Exit 18-A. SKY 10 was above the scene and saw Fire Rescue officials surrounding the vehicle. It's unclear whether anyone was injured. PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A two-car crash shut down Sheridan Street at Flamingo Road on Wednesday morning. The eastbound and westbound lanes were being blocked off. Drivers were asked to use Taft Street or Stirling Road as alternates. Police said everyone involved in the crash was taken to ahospital.
