A water main break flooded an area of Bird Road on Tuesday afternoon. (SKY 10)The 12-inch water main broke around 4 p.m. sending water gushing into the street and into a parking lot of a neighboring shopping center. A portion of the water main was isolated so that workres could excavate the pipe. A spokesperson with Miami Dade Water and Sewer told Local 10 that the break was not caused by construction, but was a “natural” break.
