Walt Disney Animation's โ Raya and the Last Dragon โ earned an estimated $8.6 million from 2,045 locations in North America. AdWarner Bros. โTom & Jerry,โ which is available to stream free for HBO Max subscribers, brought in $6.6 million from 2,563 North American theaters in its second available weekend. Many areas in North America are not yet fully open, including Los Angeles, and most California counties, Washington D.C., and much of Canada.

The A303 highway, which is a popular route for motorists traveling to and from the southwest of England, is often severely congested around the single-lane section of road near Stonehenge. As part of widespread improvements, a two-mile tunnel will be built that will effectively remove the sight and sound of traffic passing the site, and cut journey times. The Stonehenge Alliance, which has campaigned against the tunnel, said it โdeeply regretsโ a decision that will be greeted with โshockโ around the world. The group added that the plan will breach the U.K.'s international treaty obligations โnot to damageโ the World Heritage Site.

Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed Friday in an interview with late-night host Jimmy Kimmel that Holland, who plays Spider-Man in the Marvel movies, personally called and asked him to fix the Spider-Man deal with Sony -- basically saving this iteration of the franchise. Disney, which owns Marvel, and Sony had an agreement that allowed the character to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was clear that the fans wanted Tom back as Spider-Man, made by Marvel and our Marvel production team," he said. "We spoke, and he basically made a -- he cried on the phone," Iger said, laughing before revealing the truth.
