Amazon has agreed to pay nearly $4 million to settle charges that the e-commerce company subsidized its labor costs by taking tips its delivery drivers received from customers.

Amazon responded to the recent arrest of one of their drivers for a hit-and-run crash injuring a baby and his mother in the Aventura Isles Estates community, in Miami-Dade County’s Ives Estates neighborhood.
