The same machine that takes that temperature will remind a guest that they need to wear a mask. Chips on the poker table will be cleaned with UV light. Its a unique challenge for casinos across South Florida that are now reopening, including the Seminole Hard Rock, which also opens its doors Friday with a number of new safety guidelines. These reopenings mean a return to work for thousands of casino employees across South Florida, including 350 at Hialeah Park.

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek and Seminole Classic Casino in Hollywood will reopen at noon Friday, the company announced. The reopening will bring 3,200 employees back to work and comes under what the company calls safe and sound guidelines to protect from the spread of COVID-19. Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming have made a tremendous commitment to sanitary protocols and a safety-first mentality for both guests and team members, said Jim Allen, CEO of Seminole Gaming and Chairman of Hard Rock International. We are making sure our resorts and casinos are safe and sound so our guests and team members have peace of mind when they return.The Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa opened in mid-May. An opening date has not yet been confirmed for the reopening of Seminole Casino Immokalee.

Prominently featured in the video is the new guitar-shaped hotel at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. The video shows Pitbull dancing poolside with a bevy of lovely ladies and the guitar hotel serving as the backdrop. It ends with Pitbull and Shelton partying on the balcony of a room inside the guitar hotel. Pitbull even drops “Hard Rock” in his lyrics.
