The Salvation Army Angel Tree program is also having a comeback this year. It offers a relief to parents who must make the tough decision of not purchasing their children Christmas gifts to pay their utility bill or put gas in their car. Due to the increase in services The Salvation Army has a goal to provide 3,000 children with gifts for the holidays and ensuring that 1,500 local families are not evicted.
