NORTH MIAMI, Fla. - Two people were wounded in a shootout Tuesday morning outside Steve's Pizza in North Miami, police said. Crime scene tape surrounded the parking lot of the restaurant on the corner of Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 121st Street. North Miami police said a man walking along Biscayne Boulevard approached a group of people standing near a red BMW and an argument ensued. Jesse Valinsky, co-owner of Steve's Pizza, said one of his cooks who was inside the restaurant is helping police. Police are trying to determine if the victims were patrons of Steve's Pizza or just happened to be in the parking lot at the time.
