A British artist will be exhibiting a large-scale light installation at the Pinecrest Gardens’ Swan Lake starting on Saturday evening.

Two popular Miami gardens will be exhibiting light shows this year. In December, Pinecrest Gardens will be unveiling “Bruce Munro: Forest and Field of Light,” a large-scale, light installation. In November, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden will be unveiling “NightGarden: A Magical Light Spectacular,” its walk-through light exhibition.

Pinecrest Gardens will be the scene for the 2021 South Dade Schools ArtsFest. The Pinecrest City Music Project, a nonprofit that funds and runs public school music programs in South Miami-Dade County, is hosting the 2021 South Dade Schools ArtsFest. ArtsFest highlights the music and visual arts programs in Miami-Dade public schools. It will feature jazz, orchestral and band groups, while showcasing student art, such as photography and fashion design throughout the 20-acre cultural arts park. PINECREST GARDENS, Fla. – The coronavirus pandemic is changing arts season in Pinecrest Gardens, which is set to host the eight-concert jazz series JazzAid Live. World-renowned musicians will perform at an empty Banyan Bowl amphitheater, including Jon Secada, Arturo Sandoval, Kurt Elling, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Wycliffe Gordon, Grace Kelly, Joey Alexander and Manhattan Transfer. The first concert, which will be performed by Secada, will be at 8 p.m. Oct. 17. Individual concert tickets are $15 and season tickets are $100. “We are determined to keep the music alive this season by using technology to broadcast our stellar lineup of world-famous jazz musicians directly into the homes of everyone across the globe,” said Pinecrest Gardens Executive Director Alana Perez.
