It will also have the capability to charge electric buses. The new Miramar Park and Ride lot will also include 911 cell towers and security cameras for enhanced safety.

Police responded to the area to search for the man as more calls came in to 911 regarding a gunshot heard at a nearby apartment building at 6840 Pembroke Road. Police and paramedics responded to the scene to find an injured, naked man outside of the complex, suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said a final 911 call came in from a man who identified himself as the shooter.

A large bus or truck was turning from eastbound Pembroke Road to go northbound on Southwest72nd Avenue in front of Cabrera, causing his view of the roadway to become obstructed, police said. Officials said that as soon as the turning bus or truck cleared the intersection, Cabrera's vehicle collided with Lindsay.
