According to authorities, someone called 911 just after 8:45 a.m. to report that a naked man was walking in the 7200 block of Pembroke Road. Police responded to the area to search for the man as more calls came in to 911 regarding a gunshot heard at a nearby apartment building at 6840 Pembroke Road. Police and paramedics responded to the scene to find an injured, naked man outside of the complex, suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said a final 911 call came in from a man who identified himself as the shooter.

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – A driver fled on foot after crashing into two vehicles Friday afternoon on Interstate 95, authorities said. The crash was reported in the southbound lanes of the highway just south of Pembroke Road in Hallandale Beach. Florida Highway Patrol officials said the driver of a black Mercedes-Benz rear-ended a Jeep and a Hyundai. Another vehicle sustained damaged when it was struck by a piece of debris. Authorities said the Jeep rolled over and the driver of the Mercedes got out of his car and took off.

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A pilot was killed after a small plane crashed at North Perry Airport in Broward County. It happened at approximately 3:30 p.m. Monday at the airport located off University Drive and Pembroke Road in Pembroke Pines. Sky 10 was over the crash, where first responders inspected the wreckage and were seen placing a yellow tarp over the damaged aircraft. According to a spokesperson from the airport, the plane was attempting to take off and reported engine trouble before trying to turn around and land. According to records, the plane is a fixed wing, two-seat, single-engine aircraft built in 2007.

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. - A gas station clerk was robbed at gunpoint in Pembroke Pines. It happened at the Marathon gas station at Pembroke Road and Southwest 72nd Avenue. Surveillance video shows a man wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, black pants, a camouflage hat and black sneakers walk into the gas station just after 9 p.m. Monday. The man then pulled out a gun and confronted the clerk, who then emptied the register and handed the contents to the gunman. The gunman got away with about $450 in cash and a pack of cigarettes.

Local 10 News reporter Ian Margol was at the scene at 20701 Pembroke Road and was told that an employee spotted the device and immediately notified authorities. According to authorities, the item was isolated near the rear of the facility as the Broward Sheriff's Office bomb squad was called in to assess and remove the item. Margol said the device appeared to be an old ammunition box with a canteen in it and an old grenade right underneath it. BSO's Bomb Unit eventually determined the device was a training grenade and not a live one.

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. - A pedestrian was taken to a hospital after being struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon in Pembroke Pines, officials said. Members of the Pembroke Pines Police and Fire departments responded to a traffic crash at Pembroke Road and Southwest 72nd Avenue at about 1:43 p.m.Police said the preliminary investigation revealed Alexis Cabrera, 36, was driving a Honda Civic west on Pembroke Road. A large bus or truck was turning from eastbound Pembroke Road to go northbound on Southwest72nd Avenue in front of Cabrera, causing his view of the roadway to become obstructed, police said. Officials said that as soon as the turning bus or truck cleared the intersection, Cabrera's vehicle collided with Lindsay.
