Family and friends gathered Saturday morning to celebrate the life of a 13-year-old boy who drowned in a canal in Northwest Miami-Dade County.

19-year-old Stanley Johnson has been charged with a second deadly shooting despite already being in jail for allegedly killing someone else.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police are searching for the person they say sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy before shooting him. Police said the boy was walking around 2 a.m. or 3 a.m. Saturday in the Brownsville neighborhood of Northwest Miami-Dade County. That’s when authorities said a man pulled up, forced the boy into a vehicle, sexually assaulted him, shot him and then forced him out of the vehicle. Police officers surround a 12-year-old boy after they said he was abducted, sexually assaulted and shot. He was driving a black sedan and was last seen in the area of Northwest 45th Street and 31st Avenue — the area where authorities said the boy was sexually assaulted and shot.

NORTHWEST MIAMI DADE, Fla. – At least one person has been taken to a local hospital after the driver of a silver Lamborghini SUV crashed into another car in Northwest Miami-Dade County. In video exclusively obtained by Local 10 News, police officers are seen surrounding the Lamborghini with their guns drawn. According to police, this all started a couple blocks down the street, near 119th Street and 15th Avenue. AdThat’s when police said the Lamborghini hit the pedestrian. The person hit has been identified as a 33-year-old Hispanic male, and he is listed in critical condition.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were shot and killed in Northwest Miami-Dade County and authorities are still searching for the gunman. The fatal shooting took place just after 11 p.m. Friday and investigators were at the scene for several hours. Miami-Dade police said they responded to the area of Northwest 76th Street and 16th Avenue after their Shot Spotter notified of a shooting. “I peeked around my refrigerator and my whole garage was just lit up.”Evidence markers at the scene of a fatal shooting in Northwest Miami-Dade County. MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The mother of a 23-year-old woman who shot at an attempted robber at a Valero gas station told Local 10 News that her daughter had a legal license to carry the firearm. Miami-Dade police said the victim shot the suspect multiple times during the attempted robbery. Miami-Dade Police said the shooting took place at 7 a.m. at the gas station near Northwest 79th Street and 13th Court. Neighbors told Local 10 News they heard gunshots. Resident Carlos Frometa lives next to the gas station and told Local 10 News’ Annaliese Garcia he heard what sounded like three gun shots.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A 15-year-old boy has died after being shot Monday evening in Northwest Miami-Dade County, police say. Wrollan P. Foulkes was one of three teens shot in the incident, and authorities had previously said he wasn’t expected to survive his injuries. According to police, officers responded to a Shot Spotter alert and discovered the victims. All three victims had been rushed to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. Police are still investigating, and anyone with information about the shooting is urged to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Detectives are investigating the death of a man who was found with multiple gunshot wounds in Northwest Miami-Dade County early Wednesday. The man was found along NW 96th Street and 26th Avenue, where he was pronounced dead on the scene. There has been no word on whether police have tracked down the shooter. MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – SWAT officers responded to a building in Northwest Miami-Dade County late Wednesday night. What police called an “ongoing investigation” was happening near Northwest 167th Street and 1st Avenue at the Roadway Inn. This is the second time officers were called to the immediate area. Early Wednesday morning, the body of a man was discovered at a Speedway Gas Station just across the street. When asked if the two incidents are related, Miami-Dade Police said detectives are “exhausting all leads relating to the death investigation" from the gas station.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. - A car crashed through a wall and into a building in Northwest Miami-Dade County. According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, a vehicle was sent into a commercial building located at 9500 Northwest 27th Avenue after being involved in a collision. Surveillance footage showed a gray SUV inside the business after the crash. Local 10 News learned that the woman driving the SUV hit the gas instead of the brake, causing her to drive into the building. "We opened up not long ago but you've just gotta roll with the punches," said business owner Jeff Noles.
