MARGATE, Fla. – Two Margate police officers were injured Tuesday morning in a crash. A police cruiser and another car crashed in the 900 block of State Road 7. Margate police said two officers who were in the police cruiser were taken to Broward Health North. The occupant of the other car involved in the crash was taken to Northwest Medical Center. Police charged both Joseph and Lynn and two counts each of aggravated manslaughter of a child. Family members would soon discover the bodies of 6-year-old Ja'Kye Joseph and his 5-year-old brother Branario Minto submerged in the pool.

NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. - A Tamarac man has been arrested Tuesday in connection with the deaths of two boys who drowned in a community pool, officials said. Officials said the two young brothers drowned after venturing into a pool at the Silver Palms Condominiums in North Lauderdale. Family members discovered Ja'Kye Joseph, 6, and his brother, Branario Minto, 5, submerged in the pool at about 9:30 p.m. May 22, officials said. Investigators said surveillance video shows the boys unsupervised and running to the pool area at about 7:16 p.m., according to BSO's release. Officials said detectives have obtained an additional arrest warrant for the victims' mother, Wildline Joseph.

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. – After beating his 22-year-old girlfriend at a home in Coconut Creek, detectives said Sanjay Johnson called 911. Coconut Creek Police Department Sgt. Scott Slavin said Johnson, 23, told police officers Tiffonia Dejeane Davids wasn't feeling well, passed out and hit her head on Friday. After gathering evidence at the home at 4101 West Atlantic Boulevard, detectives determined Johnson used a baseball bat to beat her to death. Police officers arrested Johnson and he was at the Broward County Jail on Saturday morning.
