According to a police report, Thamyres Pounce left her 2-year-old daughter for 25 minutes while she shopped in Macys at The Mall at Wellington Green. Just after 4 p.m., deputies were called to a white, Nissan 4-door where they found the child in a car seat in the vehicles back row. Deputies who arrived on the scene said the child was sweating and crying. Paramedics arrived and treated the girl at the scene; she had a temperature of 102 degrees Fahrenheit, thePounce, 32, was charged with one count of child neglect, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office.

PALM HARBOR, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol troopers are searching Sunday for the hit-and-run driver who ran a red light and plowed into a car, killing three members of a family. The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened late Saturday in Palm Harbor, north of St. Petersburg. That caused the Nissan to spin, fully ejecting its driver and one of the passengers and partially eject the other. The victims’ names were not released, but they were identified as a 65-year-old Bruce Johnson, 49-year-old Lisa Johngon and an 18-year-old Glenworth Johnson, all from Clearwater. The passenger was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where she died. The northbound ramp to I-95 was closed after the crash and reopened shortly before 11 a.m.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. - A 15-year-old boy was killed and his mother was seriously injured Wednesday in a crash on Interstate 95 in Miami-Dade County, authorities said. The crash was reported in the southbound express lanes north of Northwest 95th Street. Authorities said a woman inside the Nissan and her teenage son were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where the teen died. The teen's mother was unconscious when she was taken to the hospital, authorities said. All southbound lanes were closed in the area after the crash and drivers were directed to exit at Northwest 103rd Street.
